The museum is divided into three main zones: Children’s Museum. This is where the general public can learn about the world through hands-on activities and an environment designed around children’s interests. Music-The Triad Museum of Tennessee is home to two live musical acts: The Bluegrass Gospel Celebration and the Chunky Chicken Chunk Encapsulation Band. Art and Science – In this museum section, you will find a replica of Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello and the John Paul Jones bust. The Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga is the brainchild of Bill Haines and his partner Bill Lane. They worked together to create a museum that is geared towards the enjoyment of children. In the early days, the museum had a straightforward layout with desks where children could sit and do their homework; today, the museum has evolved to meet the needs of a more technologically savvy family. The museum now offers more interactive experiences and educational experiences for both children and adults.
